Will you get everyone on the dance floor?

That’s exactly what we’re here for! We’re all about high-energy performances that get people moving, singing along, and dancing like no one’s watching. We love the joy and rhythm of classic Soul and Motown, and we bring that feel-good energy to every single event.

Thanks to years of experience performing at weddings and parties, we’ve got a knack for reading the room and building the vibe as the night unfolds. If you’re after a fun, feel-good band that’ll keep the party going all night, we’d love to bring that magic to your celebration.

What exactly is a ‘collective’?

Great question! We’re a collective of talented musicians who share one goal: creating an unforgettable live show for you and your guests. Every member of our lineup is a pro – handpicked for their skill, experience, and passion – and part of the wider Soul Supreme family.

Depending on the event, your band will be made up of musicians from our core group. While the exact faces might vary, every one of us is fully rehearsed and totally committed to delivering the same signature Soul Supreme sound and energy.

What’s the guide price based on?

Our starting price is based on our 6 to 11-piece band performing at a venue within 30 miles of London. If your venue is further afield, we’ll factor in travel, and if it's more than a 2-hour 30-minute drive from home, we may also need to include overnight accommodation.

Can we help choose the songs you play?

Of course – it’s your party! We invite you to pick up to 10 favourites from our set list, and we’ll build the live sets around them. You can also send us up to 40 more tunes for us to include in the playlists we use before, between, and after the live sets.

We know how personal music can be – and we’ll do everything we can to shape the soundtrack you’ve been dreaming of.

Can you play during our drinks reception too?

Yes, we can! Our Daytime Set is the perfect laid-back addition to your drinks reception or dinner which can be performed in the style of a Live Lounge. This 60-minute set is available as an add-on and can be performed as a solo, duo, or full band – whatever suits your plans and your space.

Will you learn our first dance?

We’d love to! We’re always happy to learn one special song – like your first dance or a track that means something personal to you. Just let us know your request at least two weeks before the big day and we’ll make it happen.

How long do you need to set up? What time do you usually play?

For our 6-9 piece setup, we usually need around 2.5 hours to set up and soundcheck. If you’re going for the full 11-piece band with DMX lighting upgrades, we allow up to 4 hours. Where possible, we’ll arrive during room turnaround after your meal so everything is ready before the evening kicks off.

We’ll perform at the time that suits your schedule, with 2 hours of live music included as standard (usually anytime between 7pm and midnight).

How long is your performance?

Our standard performance includes either 2 x 60-minute sets or 3 x 40-minute sets — we can be flexible depending on your timeline. We also provide a Manned DJ Service (or a pre-mixed party playlist if you prefer something simpler) before, between, and after the live sets to keep the energy flowing all night.

Our venue has a noise limiter – is that a problem?

Not at all. We’ve played at plenty of venues with noise restrictions, and we’re experienced in working within those limits. Our Booking Coordinator will speak to your venue in advance to get all the necessary info, so we can tailor our setup and make sure everything runs smoothly.

Do you bring your own PA and lighting?

Yes, we’re fully self-contained. We provide professional-grade sound and lighting that’s suitable for most venues, and we always bring along our own sound engineer to make sure the audio is crystal clear from start to finish.

How much space and power do you need?

For performance space, we typically ask for:

  • 3m x 5m for 6-8 piece
  • 4m x 6m for 9-10 piece
  • 4m x 7m for our 11+ piece setup

We can sometimes work with smaller areas – just let us know what you’re working with and we’ll see what’s possible.

For power, 4 x 13-amp sockets is ideal for our setup.

Can we see you play live before booking?

Most of our performances are at private weddings and events, so we don’t often play publicly – but our videos give a great feel for what we’re all about: the sound, the style, and the energy we bring to every stage.
